SEEN is looking for a part-time fundraiser to raise funds through writing grant applications and for organising funds through other fundraising initiatives such as events for SEEN.

- A Fundraising Strategy is developed and implemented to raise sufficient funds to achieve the objectives of the Business PlanÂ
- Good relationships are developed and maintained with donors and volunteersÂ
- Awareness is raised of Seen and services providedÂ
Eligibility SkillsÂ
- People management – building relationships with donors, recruit and inspire volunteers Â
- Marketing – spot fundraising opportunities and raise awareness of organisation’s work including making occasional presentationsÂ
- Organisational and IT skills to record and manage information Â
- Strategic – develop strategy and business planÂ
- Financial – ability to write budgets and ensure targets are metÂ
- Research fundraising opportunities and write grant applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodiesÂ

Fluent English speaker with good written, and verbal communication skillsÂ
Self-motivated and resourceful approach to getting the job done Â
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and to work with attention to detail Â
Flexible multi-tasker who is able to work independently as well as part of a team Â
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office –Â Excel, Word, Outlook and ideally PowerPoint, Publisher , and MailchimpÂ
Basic numerical skills to e.g. produce client statisticsÂ

Experience of working in fundraising for a charity is desirable but not essentialÂ
This role requires someone to work up to 11 hours per week. Experience is desirable but not essential. However should be comfortable using Microsoft Office.Â
